Pala Band of Mission Indians California Pala Announcement

PALA, CA – The Pala Band of Mission Indians, Pala Fire Department,  and Pala Geographic Information System (GIS) Department announce the Pala Physical Addressing Transition Notification and Public Meeting Invitation to the Pala Residents, 9-1-1, and the Importance of Physical Addressing meeting.

Pala Residents, 9-1-1, and the Importance of Physical Addressing
Wednesday, February 19, 2020
10:00 a.m. & 6:00 p.m.
Pala Administration Building

In order to ensure effective emergency response across the Pala reservation, Pala GIS and the Pala Fire Department have partnered to transition all old 4-digit physical addresses to the new 5-digit system already in place on Pala, as well as correct 5-digit physical addresses that are incorrect. This transition will be taking place in the latter half of this year, once the 2020 Census has been completed.

We will be holding public meetings to address your questions and concerns and to get your feedback. The first meeting will occur on February 19th, 2020 and will be held at two different times to ensure everyone has the opportunity to attend.
