Virtual Tutoring for K-12 students

Effective April 13th, 2020, the Pala Learning Center will only be offering virtual tutoring via Zoom for K-12 students.

Appointments

Appointments can be made Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Please contact Chris or Claire for more information: (760)891-3538 – cnewton@palatribe.com.

Printed Packets

For students who attend Bonsall High School and do not have access to the internet, there are printed packets available at the Pala Learning Center every other Tuesday (starting April 21, 2020) for the following classes:

  • English 9 (Calderon)
  • World History 10
  • English 11 (Ryder)
  • US History 11
  • English 12 (Armijo)
  • Foundations of Law (Armijo)
  • Economics (Armijo)
  • Integrated Math 1 (Chinai/Prestwood)
  • Integrated Math 2 (Chinai/Prestwood)
  • Integrated Math 3, Calculus
  • A.P. Statistics
  • Business Math
  • Music Production
  • Musical Theater

Several copies of the following texts are also available:

  • The Definitive Text on Native North American Art, Janet Catherine Berlo and Ruth B. Phillips
  • The Da Vinci Code, Dan Brown

Individualized Education Programs

For students with IEP’s, special arrangements should have already been made with teachers and administrators.

Please contact Tribal TANF Education Coordinator, Rafiqa Hawkins at (760) 742-8690 ext. 157 or rhawkins@sctca.net if your student needs to make arrangements for their IEP. This includes students with elementary, middle, and high school IEP’s.
