Pala, CA – The Pala Band of Missions Indians has issued a Pala Emergency Alert (PEA) that SDG&E announced due to a Red Flag Warning issued by the National Weather Service, they notified approximately 2,700 customers of potential Public Safety Power Shutoffs beginning Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at 8:00 a.m. to Thursday, December 24, 2020, at 12:00 p.m.

“A Red Flag Warning issued by the National Weather Service is in effect for parts of Southern California due to isolated strong, gusty winds from 8 a.m. Wednesday through 12 p.m. Thursday. To reduce wildfire risk and protect public safety, SDG&E has turned off power to some circuits. We understand there is never a good time to be without power, especially during the holiday season, and sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding.
