Pala, CA – The Pala Band of Mission Indians has issued a Pala Emergency Alert (PEA) stating that the National Weather Service has issued a High Heat Warning: Excessive Heat Watch for Tuesday, August 30, 2022, to Monday, September 5, 2022, and Friday, September 9, 2022.

“…EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM PDT
MONDAY…
* WHAT…Dangerously hot conditions with temperatures up to 110.
* WHERE…San Bernardino and Riverside County Valleys-The Inland Empire.
* WHEN…Until 8 PM PDT Monday.
* IMPACTS…Extreme heat will significantly increase the potential for heat-related illnesses, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.”
