Patricia Sanchez

Patricia “Pilly” Sanchez has been serving as the Tribal Historic Preservation Office Assistant since 2024.

In this position, she oversees office documentation, prepares correspondence and reports, and provides administrative support to the Tribal Historic Preservation Officer (THPO). 

Additionally, Pilly assists with coordinating meetings and facilitates work that integrates traditional knowledge with field monitoring of tribal cultural resources.

She also supports the operations of the Tribal Historic Preservation Office and the Pala Monitoring Program. Protecting our natural resources and our traditional and sacred lands is a fundamental value of hers. Pilly’s work is funded primarily by the Tribe and supplemented by annual THPO grants from the National Park Service.
